Driver Medical Evaluation DS 326

The Driver Medical Evaluation is different than a commercial drivers bi annual physical. The DME uses form DS326 and the purpose is to determine whether a regular class A driver is fit to operate a motor vehicle safely.

Examples of why a DS 326 form may be used would be a suspended license resulting from a reckless driving or DUI charge. Another example may be that a police officer found a driver unfit to operate a motor vehicle because they suspected the driver was under the influence of drugs or alcohol

We are nationally certified and registered federally to perform DOT examinations, so in most cases we can help you with your DS 326 form.

Depending on the case, we may need to see documentation from your primary doctor stating that, in their opinion, you are fit to operate a motor vehicle safely.
